"I just got my Hard Luck Kings Outlaw. As soon as I strummed the fist chord I knew the Outlaw and I were gonna be good buddies! It's one of those guitars you instantly feel at home with right when you pick it up. I can't stress enough how much guitar you get for the insane price! You'd easily pay two to three times as much to get the same amount of guitar from another company. The Outlaw has a set neck that's painted. You read that right a set neck and fully painted with a headstock to match. The pickup covers on the pickups give it a classy distinctive look. The pickups aren't just pretty they also sound damn good! When I plugged it in the first chord I hit was a 5 string chord and I heard every note. I muted the strings and got up close and there was no feedback. I'd call that a win. The pick ups are high output without going excessive and I don't have to use my noise suppressor so no tone suck happening just pure face melting. The tuning keys are chrome as well, again adding to the classy appearance. Feel wise this has that "V" scale feel to it - its comfortable soon as you pick it up. I play in drop B and soon as I tuned it down I was at home. This guitar screams. The action is perfect outta the box as well. One of my favorite features that shows HardLuck Kings just GETS IT is the placement of the input jack. It's the best on this style guitar that I've seen out there. I love the star inlay on the fret board too and the placement of the pickup selector. All things that players of any style or genre will appreciate. It's really just an amazing guitar. When you consider the price its the best deal out there by far. People say go big or go home I say go HLK or waste your money."
